Nisse Group builds business automation for small companies. Along the way we handle contact details and, on client projects, some of a client's own customer information. This page says what we collect, why, who sees it, and how to reach us about it. It is written in plain language on purpose.
Nisse Group is the business name of Karel Nijzink, based in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We are the organisation responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at [email protected].
To answer your inquiry, to book and hold meetings, to scope and deliver the work you have asked for, to invoice for it, to support the systems we have built, and to keep records a business is required to keep. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for anything unrelated to the work.
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from Nisse Group, we may text you about your inquiry, appointments, and the work we are doing together. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP or emailing us. Your mobile number and text message consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Systems we build for clients may send text messages to that client's customers. Those messages are sent on the client's behalf, under the client's own consent and privacy terms, and the client is the organisation responsible for them.
We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they process information only to provide their service to us: Google Workspace for email, documents and calendars; HighLevel (LeadConnector) for our booking widget, contact records and messaging; Stripe for card payments; Cloudflare for hosting this website; and a meeting note-taking tool for call notes. Some of these providers store data in the United States. We do not share personal information with anyone else unless the law requires it or you ask us to.
Inquiry and contact details are kept while we are in touch and for a reasonable period after, so we can pick a conversation back up. Project records are kept for as long as we support the system and as long as tax and business record rules require, which in Canada is generally seven years for financial records. Call recordings are deleted once the notes are written, unless you and we agree to keep one.
Logins you share with us are stored in a password manager, never in email or documents, and removed on request or when a project ends. Access to client systems is limited to what the work needs. If we ever have a breach that puts your information at real risk, we will tell you promptly.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep. You can withdraw consent to texts or emails at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 19.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for active clients, tell you directly.
